Attributes of HTML <p> Tag

Some common attributes of the <p> tag include:

  • id: specifies a unique identifier for the paragraph, which can be used to link to the paragraph or manipulate it with JavaScript.

  • title: provides additional information about the paragraph, typically displayed as a tooltip when the user hovers over it.

Here is how a paragraph is marked up:

In HTML, there are the following problems with the poem:

Here is an example of using multiple <p> tags:

Tag p Usage

A paragraph is described by the Tag p <p>.

In most browsers, a single blank line is added at the beginning and end of each <p> element.

Here are some of the common uses of the <p> tag:

  • The <p> tag is used to organize content into paragraphs, making it easier to read and understand.

Advice: Paragraphs can be styled via CSS.



In HTML, the Tag <p> is compatible with Global Attributes.


In HTML, the Tag <p> accepts Event Attributes as well.
